ABOUT ME

Born and raised in São Paulo - SP, I've always had a deep passion for games, ever since I was very young, playing on my bright red Mega Drive with Alex Kidd and Double Dragon - the only games I had at the time.
After finishing high school in late 2010, I had a big dream of working in the gaming industry. Because of this, I enrolled at the Centro Universitário das Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas (FMU) to study Game Design. I gained knowledge, but upon completing the course, I encountered a problem: working with game companies was difficult, especially in Brazil.
Because of this, I worked in other fields in the meantime. So, I decided to enroll in a new graduation, start from scratch, and joined Fatec Sebrae to study Marketing.

It was a new and enjoyable discovery because I realized that analyzing the market, the audience, and their preferences is something I truly enjoy. Having that understanding and using it to attract people to something they like is incredible, especially after realizing that I could combine two things I enjoyed for my Scientific Article to complete the course, researching in-game marketing using Final Fantasy 15 as the study theme.

Upon finishing my course at the end of 2019, I left my internship to start looking for marketing positions for 2020. However, the hiring stopped during the period, and I had to do once again freelancing in other areas for the time being.

In 2022, I finally landed a job involving two things I love: marketing and games. That's when I recalled my passion for games, why I took the first course, and how it's possible to work with both things I love. At the end of the same year, once again, a massive layoff, this time in the tech giants, occurred and I was one of the affected – once again.

Well, here I am, filled with ambition, passion, and a thirst for knowledge, along with a bit of stubbornness to keep trying, setback after setback, to do what I love – and always with a good sense of humor. But it's just like the popular saying goes, "Brazilians never give up", and I won't be the one to go against that.
